About Us
The Victorian Preschool Field Officers Association (VPSFOA) was established in 2003 as a ‘not-for-profit’ association.
The mission of the association is to build the capacity of its PSFO members through advocating and providing opportunities for professional development, information sharing and networking.
The Victorian PSFO program has been designed by the Department of Education and Training to provide support and professional services to Victorian government funded kindergartens to build their capacity to provide for the access and participation of children with additional needs in inclusive kindergarten programs.
The association supports PSFO’s within Victorian government funded kindergartens.
The primary purposes of the association are:-
- To represent the voice of Preschool Field Officers throughout Victoria.
- To advocate to ensure the participation of children with additional needs in inclusive Kindergarten programs.
- To advocate for the Victorian Preschool Field Officer Program.
- To provide members with opportunities for professional development, information sharing and networking.
