Membership

Our members comprise of Preschool Field Officers (PSFO’s) from all regions across the state of Victoria.

The VPSFOA aims to build the capacity of its members through the provision of:-

Advocacy – representing the voice of Preschool Field Officers throughout Victoria;
Opportunities for reduced cost professional development and learning, aligned with VIT Australian Professional Standards for Teachers;
Sharing resources, access to a private members only Facebook Group.
Networking opportunities; to share knowledge, provide collegial support & promote wellbeing.
Opportunities for engaging with other peak early childhood bodies.
We have strong links to The Cairnmillar Institute, with groups of PSFOs accessing clinical supervision support via The Big Tent Project throughout Victoria.
Encourage opportunities to become an Executive Committee member of the VPSFOA and have an active role in your professional association.
The functions of the Association are well supported by paid administration in order to ensure the participation of children with additional needs in inclusive kindergarten programs. The Association operates within Model Rules for an Incorporated Association and has Public Liability Insurance.

The annual subscription fee from 1 July 2024 will be $90 per person and the membership year starts on July 1.
